Most of the accommodation in Saas-Fee is in hotels, including some smart options to suit guests with deep pockets. However, families and visitors on modest budgets can find apartments and catered chalets in the resort’s traffic-free centre and within easy reach of the lifts.
This three-star hotel is on a small hill with great views, a couple of minutes’ walk from the village centre. Hotel Europa runs a shuttle bus service to its ski room next to the slopes. The rooms vary from simple and rustic to modern, and it’s the only three‑star hotel in Saas-Fee to have a wellness area, with hot tub, saunas and steam rooms.
A modern, luxurious four-star hotel in a quiet location above the village centre, a five-minute walk to the lifts (or a short hotel shuttle ride). The large Feng Shui Wellness complex at Hotel Schweizerhof includes an indoor pool, outdoor salt water hot tub, six types of sauna and steam rooms, a gym and spa treatments. The restaurant scores highly in the Gault-Millau guidebook.
Sunstar Boutique Hotel Beau-Site
A four-star with 39 individually designed rooms and suites, making use of local timber. The building housing the Sunstar Boutique Hotel Beau-Site dates from 1893 and is on the main street, a few minutes’ walk from the lifts. The small spa area is very stylish and has a pool with waterfall, murals, sauna, steam room and Aromarium, for inhaling the vapours of various plant extracts.
Walliserhof Grand Hotel
After eight months of renovation, the former Hotel Ferienart re-opened in December 2019 as the five-star Walliserhof Grand Hotel. It has 76 rooms decorated in modern alpine style using local spruce, oak and stone, and a large spa area.
A five-star, boutique lodge which combines the cosiness of a chalet with the comforts of a luxury hotel. Suites at the Capra have panoramic views and the hotel is conveniently located near the town centre. It has a health spa which offers a wide range of treatments, indoor and outdoor pools, sauna and steam room facilities.
Chalets and apartments
Modern, well furnished and located on the edge of the village, around 1,200m from the main gondola up the mountain. Accommodation comes in a range of sizes at the Allalin Apartments, from studios to two-bedroom places.
