Friday, August 7th officially marks National International Beer Day, and whether you’re looking to embrace the spirit of the holiday or just want to score some free beer, we’ve got you covered.
Taking the “international” spirit of the holiday to the next level, Miller Lite will be offering a free six-pack of beer in cities around the country that are named after a foreign country i.e Lebanon, New Jersey or Cuba, New Mexico.
“We know that summer travel looks a little different this year, and for many beer fans, that means celebrating International Beer Day looks different too,” Sofia Colucci, VP Miller Family of Brands said in a statement.
You can click here to find a complete list of participating cities around the US. Just make sure you hang on to your receipt. You’ll need to purchase the beer and then upload the receipt in order to be reimbursed.

Peroni
If you’re looking to indulge your wanderlust for Italy with a little beer infused gelato, (there’s really no more winning combination than ice cream and beer is there?) Peroni has teamed up with New York City based il Laboratorio del Gelato and will be offering a limited edition beer-infused gelato all day long.
The gelato —which tastes exactly like Peroni with delicate notes of the beer’s signature fruity notes with a tinge of light lemon-citrus — will be available for free at il Laboratorio del Gelato’s NYC brick and mortar stores all day today (Friday) and is a refreshing combo that’s also available for purchase online nationwide. It may not be in Italy, but it’s pretty darn close.
Cheers, Prost, Sláinte and Salute wherever you are celebrating today!
